Completed the Philips Golden ear challenge!
I completed the Golden Ears challenge successfully… Not easy to complete, but a great way to learn and or test your listening skills. There is actually quite a noticeable difference between low and high quality MP3s… More tricky was the tests requiring higher frequency listening, most people do not have hearing up to full 16KHz, very much age dependent.
UPDATE: Sadly this fantastic audio test is no longer available…
