Had a go at the Pensado’s Place competition on Indaba Music. This is a very tricky mix, that need a fair amount of work on getting the percussion and guitars balanced through the stereo field. I thought I would go for a warm and live sound with this mix. Enjoy

Really enjoyed working on this mix, for the Puremix.net competition on Indaba Music with Fab Dupont judging, quite challenging in places. I went for an overall warm feel, a touch of edginess on the guitars to keep it moving, and also kept a fair amount of the dynamics.

This is one fun and crazy competition from Indaba Music had a few laughs making this original. Was very pleased to find some stems on the Converse Rubber Tracks Converse of Mantis Evar playing on the bass. This is all meant to be a bit of fun, need to know more? My music is mainly influenced by potatoes, this song is all about fired potatoes, and features Mantis Evar on Bass Guitar! No potatoes were harmed during the making of this song. Some might of been eaten…
Really loved remixing this track, fantastic vocals! Thought I would go for a classic sound that was sympathetic to the lead vocals. I essentially brought the vocals out and gave it a strong classic R&B feel with some Electronic lightly added. Hope you like it!

Great vocals from J-Rican​, so had to have a go at this Indaba competition! What are my Influences? I like many genres, tend towards Electronica, Synth Pop, R&B, Funk and everything else! I put a considerable amount of time into this song, and was so pleased it turned out to be a very Funky R&B number with a warm classic retro feel! Hope Future Beats Records​ enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

Had great fun making these! Won popular vote for these creepy sounds! I produced some introduction sounds, that were a short run showcasing the samples, creepy noises. Followed by 3 x beat loops (using those samples). Then, recreated all the samples wet (haunting effects reverbs to increase the fear), followed by all the samples dry. Hope you like them!

This track was inspired from samples provided by Astro Nautico (Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library). My music writing tends to be very organic and abstract, influenced by many genres, but outputs are often Electronica in nature. Really like how this merged into a watery theme with sonar like sounds and ripping guitars. This came out as a popular vote winning original track from me… Enjoy!
