This is a ‘cocktails on the beach version’. Possible influences are ‘The Cure’ and 1960 style harmony. There is a lot of work went into creating this remix and it contains completely original content apart from the vocal stem provided for the competition. Midi keyboard only.

Pixie Lott’s vocals are really wonderful and at the same time powerful in the original song, I therefore wanted to build on this energy whilst retaining the soft subtlety of her vocals. I decided to make a mellow electronic dance remix that is also great to listen too. My influences for this mix are late 80s early 90s dance electronica. Enjoy 🙂
